2020 Jip Jip Rocks Sauvignon Blanc
Pale light straw with clear hue. A perfumed nose of grapefruit and citrus peel with hints of guava. The palate is clean and zesty, with abundant tropical,citrus fruit flavours and lovely acidity.
Gentle pressing and free run juices create the base of this wine. Traditionally fermented and matured in stainless steel at between 12 and 14-degree Celsius to ensure vibrancy of fruit, no malolactic fermentation was done to ensure the zesty acidity and intense fruit flavours shine in our wine.
2020 was a very good season with predominantly mild, dry days. This has resulted in good parcels of Sauvignon Blanc with lovely aromatics & flavour. Reds have good colour with concentrated berry flavours. Vine-balance was carefully monitored, resulting in fruit that demonstrates the vibrancy and fruitderived characters that we strive for in our wines.
